☆彡 Lapis Lazuli!! Their one of my highest kins, so this was really fun to make. I wanted to do a kind of dark academia aesthetic for them at first, but tbh there’s more to lapis’s character and aura to that, at least imo lol so here’s what feels the most like them to me ☆彡

So,,,chapter 82 huh

At this point though I almost kind of think Phos having to be repaired again and losing more memories could either be really good or really fucking bad. Because if they lose memories of the past 200 years, there’s a chance that they’ll change their mind abt everything (literally killing all the earth gems ect.) but if they lose the memories they had with those earth gems (like if they start to forget about Cinnabar or Antarc or any of the Earth gems who they cared about) things could go uhh...really bad.

Also I’m curious to see if Lapis is still giving them any guidance at all, or if they got lost too in the pieces that fell off. Speaking of, all that phosphophylite that’s still buried on Earth? Yeah uhm phos is the only one who knows it’s there, I could see goshen maybe wanting to get it but who knows.

Oh and Padparadscha let’s talk about them for a second. They straight up ditched them which I was like huh okay cool. And then I cried because pads deserves so much better then this. There’s hope too if rutile fixes them and gets them to tell the truth about Phos’s plan, but it won’t be helpful if Phos zooms back to earth and starts killing gems with no explanation cause if they lose memories in the bad way, that is 100% their next move.

Also when can I fucking see Cinnabar I miss my baby and I am offended at the lack of Shinsha content please ichikawa.

Okay so essentially:

Something tells me Phos is not going to be able to destroy the earth gems, at least not on this trip. They are barely together, and they still can’t think cohesively. Padparadscha is also not with them this time, which is not good because Padpa was kind of the last reliable source Phos has had in their moon state.

Dia. They were acting like they’ve completely moved on from the past, talking about shows and rehearsals, things that they are putting their talent into. Being an idol has made them forget about the fact that they could never measure up to Bortz back on Earth, which they were happier with, at least it seems like it. And Phos of course, OF COURSE, has to bring up the fact that they will kill bortz. This not only reminds Dia of the unhappiness they’ve kept buried for so long, but basically gives Dia permission to become hostile. Will Dia ever act for themselves, based on their own emotions, and not just be pursaded based on what others do and say. We may never know the answer. I honestly feel just as sorry for Dia as I do for Phos in this scene.
