okay i'm gonna ramble about hoarder now because she doesn't have a profile

she is hundreds of sweeps old, 7'1, purpleblood and lives in the arctic north in a giant subterranean hive in an area plagued with serious storms

after every storm she heads out and tries to find anyone who may have gotten trapped in the storm, she carries a lot of supplies to try and stabilise them out in the field and then takes them back to her home to recover

she can sense living people because she is half ghoul, she's technically using the same sense that she would use to hunt trolls for food - however she doesn't eat because she's not completely dead. she lives with chronic pain because her body is constantly consuming itself and then healing itself. she has to keep her body temperature within a specific threshold to make sure that the consuming/healing balance stays equal

due to this she can't spend much time in either heavy storms or outside of the arctic, but she does travel south to the nearest village to pick up supplies

she can't remember much from before she sort-of-died. she also doesn't talk very much, and when she does, she talks quite slowly because she's trying to be very thoughtful about the words she does say.

the people she rescues... are how she got her title. most trolls she just helps get back to health and then guides them back to safety once they're recovered, but some trolls she's a... hesitant to let them leave.

which is to say, she keeps mutants. she provides everything they might want, food, comfort, clothes, hobby stuff, anything... but she just doesn't let them leave. there is an elevator that connects the main part of her hive to the surface so leaving is. pretty difficult without her.

some of the people she keeps around are okay with this arrangement! alternia is dangerous for mutants and some of them feel a lot safer and live better by staying with taescira. some are. less pleased.

⁉️Horder

Despite being on the cusp between life and death, Hoarder does not need to eat, and only needs to breathe to talk. Instead, she just requires warmth to stay functioning, which is why her coat is built especially to retain heat for a long time while she explores the frozen wastes for people that need rescuing.

She will eat raw meat if it's there though.

Non-specific quadrant headcanon upon ye ->

Hoarder Taescira has not had a quadrant since she died - meaning she also doesn't remember having any quads at all. She doesn't crush easily - even in pale, although you could argue that the care she shows for some of the people she takes in consistantly borders upon pale.

She doesn't take other people's feelings towards her very seriously either, not in a way that she doesn't think they're sincere, but she's pretty sure they are just temporary, and since she's functionally immortal-ish, she couldn't bare the idea of having someone that claims they'll stay with her but might change their mind later.

It already hurts too much when she looses one of the trolls she hoards.

Opens my eyes slightly

Before she died-ish, hoarder wanted to be a nurse. But she couldn't get through medical school, couldn't pass the exams

Still has those instincts and subconscious desire though which is why she is fixated on and semi-competant at saving people who get trapped in the snow

other than just having a ridiculous amount of layers, hoarder just dresses very simply and i think that is a shame because it is technically aelynn but. hoarder never learnt to make clothes, or if she did, she forgot along with the rest of her memories pre-deathish
