Gives nose/forehead kisses:i swear ruby is giving weiss kisses like every fourteen seconds. part of it is to get weiss’ attention, part of it is just that ruby loves showering weiss in physical affection.Gets jealous the most:weiss is one huffy girl, I think ( with ruby ) she feels fairly secure in their relationship. ruby doesn’t get flirted with fairly often, but when it does happen? what the fuck they’re gonna die. Takes care of on sick days:ruby is way more calm about caring for weiss, and Weiss is way more stern / doting but they both take care of each other. that’s what partners do.Drags the other person out into the water on beach day:I don’t think it would take much convincing for either :D ruby loves the water and she’d absolutely drag weiss out to swim with her. ruby is the person who disappears under water and then grabs ur ankle — which means weiss has definitely kicked her face.Brings the other lunch at work:in a future verse where weiss is probably running her company, I love the idea of ruby stopping by a few times a week to bring lunch and eat it with her. It’s nice to spend time together, even when weiss is busy and stressed out. They’re both extremely cheesy when it comes to special dates in their relationship — ruby even makes a big deal out of the day they became partners at beacon! Brings up having kids first:ruby. absolutely ruby brings up having a baby once they’ve settled down in their lives and careers, and after initially bringing it up it becomes a HUGE goal of ruby’s. she barely stops talking about it until weiss finally says they can!Kills the bugs:Ruby kills everything. bugs, mice, random grimm outside. they dead.First to define them as a couple:FROM OUR THREAD? WEISS APPARENTLY! I think they had strong af feelings before that, but only recently in canon did they start acting on them and officially declare themselves in a relationship. Who hides their guilty pleasures longer:Mmmmmm honestly? Ruby. She’s just got a lot of weird shit she likes and one day she’s gonna show weiss her kinky manga / weird online games she plays and hope weiss doesn’t leave her. Snorts while laughing:I feel like weiss snorts if she starts laughing really really hard. Usually ruby or Weiss can get it out of her and then they talk about how cute it is.

       ━ Nerves have long been shot dead, exhaustion far too potent for her to feel much of anything. So, it was strange to feel anxiety prickling the back of her neck, making goosebumps rise on her skin as if arctic wind had just flown in. Being called in to personally speak with her somehow elicited this response despite having never met with her before. Maybe Mercury’s descriptions have already strongly molded her opinions, or maybe this reaction has firmly cemented those as the truth to her. Regardless, she really has no choice. ( She hasn’t had one since the event so affectionately called “The Fall of Beacon”.)

       As calmly as she can muster, Vanil enters the conference room, but doesn’t go much farther than the door. Her eyes land directly on the woman seated at the head of the table, and those anxious prickles appear again on instinct. Against her better judgement, she takes a breath to speak.

       ❝... What did you want me for?❞

     it’s not like weiss to stutter. her hands are flexing and loosening around her mug. it’s not like her to be anxious, either. but it’s fine, because saphron doesn’t know weiss’ tells. the only people here that do are busy with a small boy, or conversations of their own. it feels nice to be in touch with the real world again. weiss’ eyes pull away from ruby, talking in hushed tones with her uncle over yet more sandwiches, and settle on the woman in front of her. she clears her throat, and draws herself upwards. 

     “so, how did you and terra get together?”

               doubt would dress the doctor’s features then. watts could hardly muster up a fraction of sympathy for those children. they were foolish enough to fall so deep into a pit like this & never second guessed themselves until it was far too late. he could see it on the girl’s face, her hesitance & desire to flee.
