dont mind me, im just watching the HobbitCon ZWEI dvd for the first time in ages and im already crying 5min in bc it makes me so freaking happy and i miss it so much 😭
watching the Hobbitcon DREI dvd is always a highlight bc I'm in it quite a few times but the best moment still is that they filmed me getting my photo with Luke Evans and just-
i have a screenshot of that shot from the dvd as one of my backgrounds on my laptop
i just recognized someone one the HC3 dvd that i didnt meet there, but half a year ago at frankfurt bookfair where we got talking bc of our doctor who cosplays and we followed each other on instagram and idk?? its really neat to have found that out?
So my Hobbitcon VIER DVD finally arrived today and I managed to watch the first half of it! Needless to say, it's a musical! I was crying from laughter :'D I already spotted myself twice during the photosessions, so being who I am, I'll probably sit down with my laptop within the next couple of days and try to get decent screenshots :))) Sadly, I didnt have time to completely binge watch all 8 1/2 hours (like I usually do with these things haha) since I have to get up quite early. But at least I'll have something to look forward to tomorrow. I can't wait for MagicCon next year! :) On another note, I started listening to Halsey during studying since I can stream Badlands on Amazon and it was suggested for me, and I LOVE THE ALBUM!
Throwback to Hobbitcon VIER: Pick up lines in Middle Earth
I still miss Hobbitcon A LOT and I wish I could go back there again :( I always had the best times there, and this year was no less awesome!
I got to ask a few questions during the panels, which at some point during William Kirchers panel lead to me being on stage!
The questions I asked him was if he knew any dwarvish pick up lines - which he didn’t, but he said that he would definitely think about it. He was so nice and I was fangirling a lot (not really a surprise here).
@goldenlionprince was so awesome and took some photos of me when I was on stage and I think they capture the moment wonderfully! I am forever thankful to have these photos <3
Aaaaaand the story continued in the Mark Ferguson panel! I asked Mark if he knew any elvish pick up lines, and after a bit of confusion about if I meant if he knew them in elvish (which I didnt) he started acting out how he would pick up an elvish lady. He (well, Gil Galad) went to an “Elvish bar?? Are there elvish bars?” and went into ‘flirt mode’ and then ended it all with asking the (imaginary) elf in question seductively “What conditioner do you use?”
Needless to say, that was the best possible outcome to my question.
I was indeed a very happy hobbit at Hobbitcon Nummer Vier! :)))

I had the best time at Hobbitcon, a nice birthday and vacation! I’ll save all my photos on my laptop tomorrow probably and maybe post a couple of photos and maybe share some stories :))
