😇 Sigmar grew up kind of sheltered, not having traveled at all, and as such has a pretty naive world view. Three layers deep in discovering a conspiracy between various higher-ups in Tevinter and even some government branches, Sigmar at some point suggested simply going to the city guard. He’s a sweet bean but he has no idea about shady Tevinter politics.  

🤫 Raiden hasn’t always been exactly truthful with the party. One time he secretly left a fancy stolen bottle of wine with some NPCs they’d met as a gesture of goodwill, but when Annori asked what happened to the wine he told her he drank it all. Annori thought that was fishy so she asked him later why he lied. He hadn’t expected her to catch on so he got a little flustered, but eventually told her he has a reputation to uphold. He *is* in it for the money, after all, and he doesn’t want the party to expect otherwise.    

🥴 Raiden once challenged a dwarf to a drinking contest to win his prized bejeweled battle axe. He cheated, drinking only half of every cup and conveniently spilling the rest. The plan was to have the dwarf drunk off of his ass while Raiden remained somewhat sharp, so he could get important information out of him. But even so the dwarf ended up drinking him under the table. He woke up the next afternoon in an alley with his pants on backwards and his boots on his hands, with the worst hangover of his life and neither axe nor information. He doesn’t even really remember what it was he needed the man to tell him. 

🦄  Sigmar’s favorite childhood memory: “I used to go over to Adriens place. His dad would cook for us and we’d all eat together, he’d always ask about our day. It’s stupid, but it made me feel part of their family. I remember one night, he surprised us with a book he’d bought. It was an adventure novel, about a young man who faced all kinds of dangers while delivering an important letter to the king. He read it to us by the fire, we were all huddled up under the sheepskins, Adrien, his sister and me. When I squinted my eyes, I could just about see the shapes of trees and horses moving in the flames. It was like we were suddenly someplace else. In another time. It was just… yeah. I enjoyed that. I knew books were expensive, and I knew Waldemar didn’t have a lot to spend, but he bought that book for us, for this. He later used it to teach us how to read. He didn’t have to do that, I wasn’t even his kid, but he did. He’s just nice like that.”

🍀 One time when he was breaking into someone's estate, Raiden narrowly avoided capture because the victim took him for a ghost and just gave him what he came for, terrified.

🎂 Raidens birthday is on november 2nd and Sigmars is may 5th (or, like, the equivalent of that in their respective calendars)

🧭 Sigmar hasn’t seen much of the world, and has been soaking up the sights ever since the group arrived in Minrathous as if it could all disappear again at any second. He’s been completely enthralled by the stories the party tells about different parts of the world they’ve seen, and is quietly hoping he can take Mira up on her offer to let him become part of her crew one day.

7. Is your muse the big spoon or little spoon?

I mean...due to his size he’s usually the big spoon, but he doesn’t mind being the little spoon for his partner.

8. Is your muse comfortable with, or proud of their body? Are they insecure?

He completely at home in his skin and knows he looks good. >:D

9. Is your muse attracted to any features in particular?

Not really. What he finds attractive in a person varies from person to person and even between their physical appearance or simply their personality.

13. Where is your muse most sensitive?

His most sensitive spots are on his neck

14. Is your muse more submissive or dominant in a relationship?

Neither really. He mostly goes with whatever flow develops in his relationships. As for his current relationship with his pirate captain Mira, he typically defers to her in most things. (It helps that they are pretty much of one mind when it comes to most things.)

15. Would your muse ever tempt their partner, e.g flirting, wearing tight/sexy clothing?

Oh, he definitely tries to tempt his lover occasionally, and will not hesitate to flirt with people. Though if he wanted to tempt someone with clothing, it would probably be with a nice suit, because he doesn’t wear much in the way of clothing to begin with.

16. Does your muse initiate heated/sexual contact, or do they wait for their partner?

Again, depends on his partner. In the past he was usually him the one initiating, but with his current partner Mira, they both do.

I think there might be a way, that an unromanced Gil gets a boyfriend in me:a. I'm not 100% sure since I haven't finished the game yet, but my Ryder talked to a guy on the Hyperion and he asked her, if Gil was dating someone and if you say no, Gil get's a 6 pages long e-mail from him saying what a loss it is, that Gil is working on the Tempest now.

There is one guy, indeed! I forgot his name but yes, I know about the letter. I don’t think he can end up with Gil tho. I wonder now hmmmmmm

I'm a little late I'm afraid but to his birthday Adahl would wake up Max with cuddles and would leave to get him breakfast and come back with the kids and they would all sit on the bed and give Max presents (a flower crown with his favourite flowers, little figurines, a Dalish ring/bracelet, Dalish sweets...) while he eats and they would spend the day together with going on a field trip and at the evening they would celebrate with friends and at night Adahl would spoil Max iin bed if he wants ;3

Maxwell was slowly roused from his sleep by the feeling of someone gently stroking his hair. He smiled as cuddled closer to the warmth beside him and the sound of soft chuckle caressed his ear.

“It’s time to get up and get dressed, Vhenan.” The husky voice spoke to Maxwell. Maxwell groaned a mumbled “It’s too early” to the voice as he hid his face in a warm chest. The person lets out another soft chuckle and squeezed him closer before pulling away. Maxwell let out a small whine and groggily opened his eyes while he reached for his bed partner. The sight of his lover’s charming smile greeted him as Adahl caught the hand reaching for him and brought it to his lips for a kiss.

“I know it’s a little early today but I thought I’d treat you today. So I want you to get dressed and wait here while I go get breakfast.” Adahl instructs Maxwell as he gets up and starts pulling on his clothes.

With a loud sigh Maxwell gets up himself and puts on his clothes before eagerly waiting for Adahl to return. Just as he contemplated getting out his sketchbook to pass the time the pitter patter of feet reached his ears and he let out a laugh as the door slammed open and with a loud cry of his name was tackled to the bed by two giggling blurs.

“Well, what’s all this?” Maxwell asked with a laugh as he hugged the two girls tight.

“ Happy Nameday!”

“We got you presents!”

The two girls shouted in unison. A snort came from the doorway and Maxwell looked up to see Assan leaning against the dooryway with an amused look on his face. “We were supposed to give you your gifts later but these two couldn’t help themselves.” He explained with a shake of his head.

“Now is as good a time as any I should think.” Maxwell replied with another quick squeeze to the sisters in his arms.

He sat them up and proceeded to open the gifts the children had gotten him just as Adahl returned with enough breakfast for the two of them. Maxwell proceeded to put on the gifts given to him by the kids and thanked them each with a kiss on the head and proceeded to eat the delicious breakfast while listening to Adahl explaining the fun filled day he had planned for them to spend together. Surrounded by his beloved and their family, Maxwell couldn’t help but think to himself that this was the best birthday he’d ever had.

🏴‍☠️ Raiden actually spent some time at sea. He told his party about how he was a cabin boy on a pirate ship, and one night the crew took him along to a sunken cavern, supposedly filled with treasure. None of the burly pirates could fit through the opening in the rock, so they sent skinny kid Raiden out to investigate. He found heaps and heaps of gold, but also heard a terrifying voice warning him to not take anything. When he got back to the pirates he conveyed this message, but they just laughed and started blowing a hole in the cave wall and entered to collect the treasure, leaving Raiden to mind the rowboats. After a while it became clear that the crew wasn’t coming back. Raiden was too terrified to return to the ship to tell the others what happened, feeling he might be held responsible, so he took the rowboat and rowed it all the way to shore, never looking back. 

🩳 Sig had spent his whole life in a town in a valley, and as such had never seen the sea before coming to Minrathous with the party. He’s absolutely mesmerized by it. During their three weeks of down time, the group went to a nearby beach and pirate captain Mira took it upon herself to teach him how to swim. <3 

🪒 Raiden has very little chest hair, something Ara likes to remind him of frequently. He’s more bummed about this than he’ll ever admit.

🏟️ Sigmar is so excited to see Minrathous, he wants to enjoy it to the fullest. So he practically begged the group to join him in signing up for arena fights, and eventually they did! As they entered the arena for their first fight, their opponent turned out to be a huge scary wyvern. Everyone quickly ducked behind one of the nearby rocks, but Sig was so overwhelmed that he stood frozen in place, and the creature bounded right towards him. In the end, the group managed to take down the wyvern with some pretty cool moves, and Sig will be riding this wave of adrenaline for weeks to come.

🌅 Sig set out on this whole adventure to retrieve his missing friend Adrien, and it seems like this reunion is now on the horizon. And only when the party asked him what he was gonna do after did he realize he hadn’t thought about that at all. Will Adrien join them on their adventures? Will he just want to go home? The thought of having gone through all of this, only to possibly part ways again... Oof. Goes to show that there’s always something new to be anxious about. 

🌾 Fun fact: I had originally intended for Raiden to be a much more goofy and light-hearted character. But in the context of the party, he turned out to be the one with the brain cell, so he quickly took on a lot more responsibility than I’d imagined. Due to Ara’s hostility and Kevin and Annori’s innocent aloofness, his condescending, serious side emerged pretty naturally from there. He’s grown into an entirely different type of character than I’d thought I’d be playing. But I’ve been enjoying every second of it.

😎 One of the coolest moments in our ‘Anyway Murder’ campaign so far, for me, has to be that time Raiden had a full-on fist fight with another player character, Ara. Tensions had been building for a while, and one ambush, misunderstanding, and humiliating defeat in combat later they ended up lashing out at each other until eventually, they started throwing punches. The others tried to break them up and eventually, Raiden left. It was a very intense session in all the best ways, and it’s provided an amazing opportunity for character development. 

😱 When he’d just joined the party, Sigmar once made an impulse decision to break a stand-still with an NPC by attempting to knock them out. Only he missed, and caused a chain of events that led to the whole group having to barricade the doors and climb out a window from the highest story, about 70 yards above the ground, while trying to dodge crossbow bolts. They lived, but the group will never let him live it down. 

💋 Raiden is an aromantic pansexual: he is easily attracted to people across the gender spectrum, but has never really felt the need for a romantic connection.   

🦚 One of Raiden’s biggest flaws is definitely his ego, and the way he underestimates others. He’s convinced he’s usually the smartest in the room, and that can lead to him being condescending and dismissive of others. The longer he spends with the party, however, the more he realizes their worth. After he went unconscious in a fight and was brought back by Annori the druid and Kevin the bard, he definitely had to change his judgement.  

🦉 Sigmar never went to school, but his friend Adrien’s father taught them both to read and write. He still struggles with it sometimes, though he recently picked up (stole) an adventure novel and has been enjoying it a lot.

🌻 The reason Sigmar left his home was to find Adrien after he went missing. He met the rest of the party on this journey, and they’ve been helping him greatly in figuring out what happened. His new friend Junius used his bureaucratic influence to have the ship Adrien is (supposed to be) on turned around, and it is now supposedly heading back towards them. Meaning Sigmar and Adrien may soon be reunited! I’m very excited for something good to finally happen to this poor nervous wreck of a boy.
