MY WILDERNESS TERRAIN FOR WARGAMING AND RPGS IS FINISHED
Haven't posted any of my jewelry work in a bit but I'm still messing around with it. Rainbow tourmaline ring for my mom and a reticulated silver ring for myself.
Well Spring has sprung and with the return of the sun I’ve felt pretty inspired to do some hobby crafting. Been sitting on a small stockpile of unpainted Warhammer Terrain for a while so I used the opportunity of the changing weather to test my spray cans out and base coat some terrain.
From there I went ahead and slapped some craft paint on this silo/tower as a proof of concept. My plan is to make the homemade industrial terrain have a cohesive color set. (Though I’m planning to paint the crashed lander to match my brother’s Imperial Guard) I was thinking this light blue with plenty of rust and maybe some deep red for highlights. More as I make progress. Got a bunch more sprayed up today so once I get the scheme and techniques worked out I’ll do the rest of it too.
Still learning jewelry making, did my first crack at stonesetting today. Pretty dang happy with how it turned out!
Yaaa more jewelry stuffs. I've obtained more stones so I need to figure out settings 😬
Got some time to clean up my bronze casts the other night, and it's so cool to see these all cleaned up and pretty.
Did some sculpting tutorials and testing new 3d print resin this weekend so I can try my hand at more investment casting! This resin has a wax content so it'll burn out in the oven so I can try casting it in fancy materials. We'll see if it works!
