FREE Pop up art & craft workshops are an incredible concept that is hosted by @hobbyhouseqatar. I was lucky enough to join the free decoupage workshop and had fun learning a new craft, meeting new friends and proudly bringing home a recycled can flower pot that looks wonderful! Once a month at the @farmersmarketqa in Education city Ceremonial court there will be free workshops. A creative platform where artists mentor students, while students learn a new skill and make new friends. Hobby House Qatar also offers a wide range of paid workshops. Classes such as calligraphy, jewellery making, gardening workshops with @mama_baba_ganoush and lots more!! Refer to their social media handles for more information on Schedules. @hobbyhouseqatar (facebook / Instagram) *Cost of most workshops are QR 250 or Qar300 *The cost includes all materials. * Payment to be made online via bank transfer. Incase of cancellation a day or less prior to the workshop a 50 QAR will be charged as penalty fees and the rest will be refunded back. How to register for classes? - Leave them a message on Facebook or Instagram specifying the name of the workshop/date/ name/ contact no (registered on whatsapp pref.) / email address - If they have a spot available they will register you immediately and confirm the spot upon receiving payment for the same (if it is a paid workshop). If workshops are booked out they will add you to a waitlist and keep you posted as soon as a spot opens (i.e in case we have any cancellations) - Please note these are community projects where people share their knowledge and passion for their art. They request you to please respect the time and effort put into organizing the workshops and hope that you will show commitment and interest upon successful registration.
