Hodurr is a bit tricky. You have to find him in the swamp he lives in. Plus you need to earn 10 out of 16 hearts to open to ask to be matesprit option.

He considers himself an independent troll. He hates it when someone tells him that he needs assistance 24/7 due to his blindness. Doing this will cause the route to end immediately.

Here is his route.

You are lost in a swamp. You’re not sure why you decide to follow that darn treasure map, but you did. A noise catches your attention and you turn around to see a huge blue blood who seems like they are staring right through you. It was… rather scary to say the least.

[Name]: Please don’t hurt me! Hodurr: I thought I heard someone walking around. I’m not here to hurt you.Hodurr: I want to help you. Are you lost?

> Is this a trick? Why would someone like you help me?> Yes… Can you help me get out of here?

The first option closes the dating route but he will still help you out. The second option gives you 3 heart points. He sees you are in troubled and really wants to help you.

As he guides you out of the swamp, you learn that he lives in this swamp and he’s blind. Trolls take him for granted because of that, but you then learn that he wasn’t always blind. When he was younger, he was able to see and just slowly lost his sight. Be sure to make a mental note of that.

Once you guys get to the edge of the swamp a new conversation sparks.

Hodurr: Before you go, I must ask… Why were you here?

> No reason. I just wasn’t paying attention.> I was dared to find this treasure that’s suppose to be in the swamp.

The first option basically ends this route. The second one causes him to help you find the treasure. You would just need to be his eyes and describe the map! The two of you exchange handles… even though you’re not sure how he can message if he is blind.

After a couple of days of preparations, you let him know you are heading that way and will be where he left you. The two of you meet up and head out on the hunt. A new conversation sparks up! This is the big time. This makes it or breaks it for this route.

[Name]: Isn’t it hard to live out here alone in your condition?Hodurr: It was at first, but I’ve memorized this swamp eventually. I know every each of this place cause of that.

> You should have someone with you regardless.> That’s cool! I wish I had a memory like that.> You couldn’t have memorized the whole swamp.

The first option ends his route immediately. The second option earns you 2 heart points for flattery. He will laugh nervously due to the flattery. The third option is a neutral option. This is the talk if you pick the second option.

Hodurr: It takes practice.[Name]: Is that why you don’t go outside of the swamp? You don’t know the outside of it?Hodurr: Sadly… Yes. I haven’t gotten the chance to trust anyone to help me. I truly am blind if I step outside of the swamp.

> Well that sucks. > You’re just stuck here till someone comes then, huh?> I guess I can return the favor. Since you helped me out twice.

The first option ends his route. The second one also end his route but you still stay in contact with him. The third option earns you 3 heart points. He thinks you are a loyal person.

The rest of the conversations won’t affect his route. You two will eventually find the ‘treasure.’ Surprise. Your friend sent you on the hunt to find lusus poop in a box! Gotta love prankster friends. You gain 1 heart point just for bonding.

You and Hodurr do have a laugh about it. In the end, it may of been a prank but you and Hodurr grew closely. If you got the heart points in the last conversation, Hodurr will suggest the two of you head for his hive so you can rest up before heading to your hive. You take him up on that offer.

In his hive, you learn more about him and start to enjoy the company of this gentle giant. He grabs you a glass of water and a new conversation starts.

[Name]: Does it suck… not being able to see all the new people you meet? The ones you help out I mean.Hodurr: You can say it does. I did learn I have to rely on a troll’s personality to tell if they are a good person or not.Hodurr: Looks can be deceiving.

> Sounds like you know that too well.> I hope I’m a good person to you.

These are tough choices. Honestly, both will lead you to continue his route. Only one gives you heart points. That would be the first one and it will give you 3 heart points! He will start to open up to you. This will be his way of showing he trusts you and let you know he thinks you’re a good person.

Congrats! If you answered everything correct and collected all the heart points in this chapter, you can officially ask him to be your matesprit. If you did everything correctly and got all the hearts, you get a bonus scene when you go hive. Its underneath the read more.

BONUS: Before you leave you him, you take his hand in yours. Tell him how amazing he is before kissing his hand. Once again you make him fluster and he takes your hand in return. It would take him a moment, but he makes up his mind and returns the kiss on the hand.
