Tobirama was, for good or ill, a very stubborn man. “Please, just let me help you up? I won’t make you go to the hospital since its not that serious but at least let me bandage you up?”

Reaching down, Deidara brought Tobirama’s hand upwards and gently kissed the fingertips before moving up to place another on his wrist. Flipping it over, he kissed the back of Tobirama’s hand before flushing slightly and bending down to quickly peck Tobirama’s stomach.

Shikamaru had been hunched over his bottle of sake at the bar counter, thinking of the failed mission he had just reported about to the Hokage. He hated when he failed missions even if they were few and far apart. It made him feel useless and like he shouldn’t have become a ninja of the Leaf in the first place. Everyone would have been better off with him doing something like farming...

His thoughts on an alternative life were interrupted by a familiar voice next to him. He looked to Tobirama, slightly relieved to have someone appear to free himself from his own self pity.

“Yeah you could say that...” He sighed and shook his head, “Anyway, what are you doing here?” It was the middle of the day, after all.
