usually I feel like the stereotypical person wearing the shirt is like, an innocent weeaboo, like they've seen ouran and soul eater and black butler and they like love it so much really naively and this line of thought probably stems from the fact that that was me in 10th grade lol

I understand the feeling, and it's part of the issue too like even people who watch anime are afraid to show it or talk about it for the most part and i wish it could just be a thing people like openly without all the fear of being seen as "one of those weeaboos". like yeah they often have issues, but so do western shows and it should just be a thing people like that no one thinks is weird because they're just tv shows from another country
