The rich flavors of soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and sesame oil come together in this oven-baked Asian BBQ salmon recipe to make a very tasty dish. It's simple to make and great for a dinner during the week or a special event.
Ingredients: 4 salmon fillets. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce. 2 tablespoons honey. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 2 green onions, chopped. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 400F 200C. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to make the marinade. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure it's evenly coated. Cover the baking dish with foil and let the salmon marinate for at least 30 minutes. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
