The Church of St Andrew & St Mary, Paull in the Holderness district of East Yorkshire, replaced a 'drowned' Norman building in the 1300s.

This was a lovely part of last year’s City of Culture events. I saw a screening in a pop-up venue in Whitefriargate soon after my father died. Setting of Andrew Marvell poems, performed in his father’s parish church at Winestead.

A new Conflux Coldwell album is quickly coming together - well I say quickly, I’ve been working on it for well over a year. It’s part of the same larger project that contains the Disappearing Coast photography I’ve been posting here and the forthcoming short film, Road Ahead Closed. The album includes the soundtrack for the latter and is based around field and radio recordings I made while travelling the #holderness coast in East Yorkshire #hauntology https://www.instagram.com/p/B-LAVI-HfIB/?igshid=1we26nqkd6ftb
