13. does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?: well, we have tons of them! but the one that will sound absolutely strange to outsiders is the “พระราชพิธีถือน้ำพิพัฒน์สัตยา/พระราชพิธีศรีสัจจปานกาล”, a hinduist tradition that the royal family used to practice for centuries. it includes a large tank of water with deadly weapons that was prayed and cursed by the brahmas to curse those who betray the king. so all of the civil servants and officers need to drink that water and vow with their lives to serve the king. this was held annually to ensure that these people won’t betray and attack the monarch in any way. but if they did, they would suffer from those deadly weapons and fatal malady, and this karma will directly send them to hell for eternity. however, this was cancelled by king rama iv and never held again ever since.

my resolution is to work on my discipline, I'm organized and I'm good at prioritizing what I need to do but I can never stick to planners, journals or schedules ya know ?? so imma work on that

okay but I got so heated when they were calling lance dumb, and I know it was all fun and games but c'mon it was soo excessive I was !!!

YUP im still not over that and wont ever be over that!!! like not only did they call lance dumb, it was a derailment of lance actually getting a compliment from allura (you’re a natural!) which definitely makes it worse. never mind the fact that lance is adhd coded on top of that and literally those with adhd are always called stupid or annoying so its just another nail on the head.

also important to add is that latinxs are stereotyped as being dumb or uneducated as well so theres that little dose of anti latinx racism, even subtly, thrown in there. its even more ridiculous when lance is shown in canon to make intelligent decisions regarding the team but nope! hes just naturally dumb!
