The first half of this was a little slow and maybe a little overly descriptive, but I think it's just the fault of being the first in what is clearly going to be a series. Just a bit too much set up on the town and less on building our main characters.
Second half was tooth achingly sweet and fluffy. Very light on the drama except for a few plot-lines. Fluffy small town goodness filled with great chemistry, fun banter and even better side characters. If you enjoy holiday themed small town romances that feel like a hallmark movie that doesn't fade to black then you'll eat this up.
