              She said she was going to give him a gift and she meant it. Though she came through that doorway carting more than a gift in her arms. Nelliel simply held the neatly wrapped packages out to him, peeking around the stacked items to flash him a smile and speak up. “Frohe Weihnachten, Ulquiorra.” Inside the largest were the complete -- well preserved -- first edition works of Klopstock and Heinrich Heine. In the smallest, an array of bitter almond chocolates, she remembered he wasn’t one for very sweet things. And in the last was a simple duo, a black leather bound journal with clean cut pages edged with green and a pelikan fountain pen. “I hope I did decently enough.”

               There was absolutely no way she was going to forget him for the holidays. Without a shred of hesitation, Nelliel perched herself in Ichigo’s window once more before she sprang forward to tackle him with her excitement. “Ichiiii!” Merrily clinging to him for a moment, she soon separated in order to take the neatly wrapped gifts from the bag she was carrying on her hip. “Happy holidays!” Inside the smaller one was a black tungsten carbide ring with a koa wood inlay, it reminded her of him instantaneously. In the other one was a silver gear band that was perfect for those oh so frustrating moments of stationary issues. And in the final box was a long red and black plaid blanket scarf.

                 “Kiiii-suuuu-keeeee!” She practically announced her incoming as she swiftly sprang from the balls of her feet to promptly tackle him with great care. Or rather, with great force coupled with her expertly making sure he didn’t collide with anything too hard upon her pouncing. “Happy Holidays!” The words were accompanied by a presentation of neatly wrapped gifts as she sat up, practically glowing with excitement as she did so. In the series of boxes she presented, one contained a first edition copy of “Seventy Great Inventions of the Ancient World” by Brian M. Fagan, another contained a wrist band integrated with the Fibonacci symbol. The last gift was none other than a metal serotonin molecule pinned to the brim of a hunter green fedora.

                Incoming! In a flash like lightening, she was already pouncing upon him with her excitement unleashed in the form of a tackle and cling to his frame. “Deiru!!” She grinned, happily nuzzling his cheek for a moment before she straightened up long enough to hold out the long thin wrapped box. “Happy Holidays!” Inside was a black pewter pocket watch that held a mechanical copper dial and was hooked to the velvet lining with a similar copper chain. Upon opening the watch, he’d find an inscription on the inside of the casing. ‘You are a wonderful treasure ❤ N’
