Jemma’s wedding dress
I’ve always admired when writers have moodboards for their story aesthetics, or Pinterest pages with the moods and the significant outfits they’ve written about. I thought of that when I wrote the Labor Day story about Jemma finding an old dress of Peggy Carter’s at a secondhand shop.
I remember googling “1940s white dress” at the time. I have no memory of actually using one as inspiration. I think I kept it vague and figured I would write more of a description in the wedding story. Well, we are at that point now and I still don’t know what it looks like! All of the pictures I included in this post would be fine, I guess. I don’t really picture anything in my mind, though.
To be perfectly honest, I haven’t had much in mind for the wedding as a whole. I’ve often thought Jemma and Grant would plan something and then end up doing something that’s just the two of them. All I know now is that I want a happy day for them.
That’s what the series is supposed to be about, though I often add in drama because I just can’t help myself. The direction I’m going in for New Year’s Eve Wedding Week is no drama for the couple – and drama for everyone else!
