The Crags Filled with Sun-Soaked Water Male Skydragon Holideer Mindvoice: #cb4530
The embodiment of the lazy, yet pleasant days of summer where you just decide to drop everything and go to the beach, this holideer doesn't have a single bad bone in his body. He's possessed by the idea of discovery, of exploring the new and grabbing the bull by the horns in order to ask it if its having a good time. He'll always endorse going on a new venture, unless it's cold out. He's all for going on picnics or answering that ad to explore newly-found-once-lost ruins of old, unless there's even a dusting of snow on the ground. He will help people before they realize they were about to ask for help, and be there as an emotional support when needed, even if it means trudging through a blizzard to get to you. He puts the needs of others before him, which can get him in trouble, certainly, but he'd like to say he'd rather that trait over a few others. He'll never tease people, though he can go along with a few jabs and rolls here and there. There is a constant laugh and smile to his voice, and he'd be the first to step in when teasing crosses into areas of torment. In the face of atrocity and danger, he's one of the first lines of defense, using ingenuity to maybe, perhaps, use powers of persuasion rather than the last resort of RAM YER ANTLERS INTO IT.
When the long days are done, and the adventuring is drawing to a close, it's always best to remember that by taking care of yourself you're helping people down the line. So he'll encourage the hardest of workers to pull up outside and watch the stars for just half an hour, or maybe when it gets too cold out, to build a cozy fire and reminisce about warmer days to come in front of it. He's affectionate, wearing down shy boundaries with his soft and pressing voice, and best of all he's genuine. His sincerity isn't lacking or for his own personal gain. No, when he needs me time, he politely excuses himself and goes for a little walk, usually at low tide when the best critters are emerging from those beautiful, teeming tidal pools...
His pelt is warmly colored, a nice reddish gold as a base, with spots of white flaring out over the entirety of his back. His belly and chest are also white, and this whiteness spreads up to cover almost the entirety of his body during the winter months. While he's certainly drab during the colder season, during the summer his coat sheds and beyond the reddish-gold there's lurid blues and greens and oranges that swath about his back and hind legs. While he doesn't have a tail, his front hooves are actually claws, and up along his neck are barbs that only really do damage if he's body slamming into something. The claws come in handy more for utility reasons even, like peering over edges or having a firmer grasp on terrain. Behind his ears are wide, expansive antlers, the color of deep burgundy, which shine as if they are constantly wet. His eyes are teal, with rings of purple about the edges.
