To be honest, I can’t speak more highly for therapy/counselling. Hell, Ive been in regular counselling for the past two years now and just THIS WEEK I was reminded that I have little to NO connection to my own physical body and/or feelings and have to do stupid basic things to correct that - I do think Irish folk are programmed to repress and ignore, to SERIOUS detriment

thanks a lot for replying darlin <3 yeah honestly it’s something I feel might benefit me.. like idk I’ve gone the last few years of my life thinkin I’m the most perfectly mentally healthy person there is but I think a lot of that is due to me being unable to express myself properly and refusing to do so, and just like.. brushing everything off and squashing it down instead. idk. I definitely do think it’s an irish thing, yeah, or an irish/english thing, prob where a lot of our super toxic drinking culture comes from.

The most important part of a date to me is getting to like, talk to each other. So I’d love kind of an all day thing where we go on an outing in nature, preferably a walk along the beach because I love the ocean!! Then dinner somewhere nice and drinks afterwards.
