Hollis Hammond's current show "Worthless Matter" is running from February 10th to April 6th in the Dorothy W. and C. Lawson Jr. Reed Gallery at the University of Cincinnati, DAAP and if i do say so is a MUST SEE. She is both a prominent artist in the Midwest and also a St. Edwards University Professor in Austin, Texas where her current studio is. Extremely prolific, she draws her inspiration both from personal experiences and natural disasters, evoking overwhelming emotions from the visual stimulation of conglomerated belongings that so often appear within her work.
