HOLLOWAY EVENT 01

Join the Holloway Investigation of the Paranormal Society (HIPS) for their first public investigation at Leland Manor House in Upper Holloway. The manor's history dates back to the town's founding but was left to decay in the late 1950s. The Holloway Home Society recently renovated the manor, but the ghosts still linger. Neighbours report strange occurrences, such as lights turning on and off, figures appearing at the windows, and unexplained noises after dark. Don't miss your chance to investigate Leland Manor with HIPS.

HIPS is offering a free "lock-in" investigation, open to council members, local authorities, and residents. The event will take place locally and admission is free for attendees.

Details:

The doors will be locked at 7 PM and reopen at 8 AM. Local business owners are encouraged to bring their food, drinks, and wares to set up booths in the expansive gardens of Leland Manor. The braver members of the group can participate in seances and solo investigations.

Date of event 25-26th August (Threads may continue longer and retrospectively)

The evening of the investigation drew to a close without a flaw, much to the relief of the Holloway Home society. Festivities were enjoyed in the garden by all, and some even learnt secrets of the past from so-called spirits. H.I.P.S leave the investigation with little evidence of the paranormal but the realisation of what the events can do to bring a town like Holloway together after tragedy.

The alleged most haunted spot in town is currently a subject of debate. Some believe that maybe the town is not haunted at all, while others speculate that the spirits once confined to the manors have now escaped and are among us. The night proved interesting for the residents of Holloway. Some having their eyes opened, some intrigued and some still disbelieving that more could be out there. What side are you on?

We're sad to inform you of our decision to temporarily close down Holloway. After much thought and consideration, Soph and I have made this difficult decision. We understand that Halloween is just around the corner, and we would have preferred to keep it open until then. However, due to busy schedules, illnesses and a general feeling that everyone else in the roleplay is also struggling, we have decided to put Holloway on hiatus for the foreseeable future.

One day, Holloway will be revisited, but until then, we appreciate your understanding and support. We're grateful for all the beautiful muses we've had the opportunity to write with this summer, and thank you for the stunning plots you've brought to our dash.

Hey all! We have received our app goal, and we will be opening for interactions tomorrow evening at 6pm GMT. Of course, feel free to post intros beforehand and queue up starters ready to go.

We hope that you've all enjoyed plotting as much as we have and we cannot wait to hang out in Holloway with you. Tomorrow I will also be posting our first event to kick off the rp and I'm hoping it'll be a great chance for muses to meet and get to know each other if they don't already.

A little bit of housekeeping. We will be starting activity rules from 6pm tomorrow. Because this is our opening weekend, we will extend posting rules to 48 hours. So you will have until Sunday at 6pm GMT to post in character. Secondly, please have fun!

We've had a chill summer here in Holloway. But now we officially are going to resume regular activity with the launch of an event! We will also be revamping slightly and working on a few of our bios.
