i keep getting the feeling that all of lydia’s pain is going to go towards furthering stiles and stydia’s plots… rather than, y'know, her own arc and character.

of course it is, because all of her pain/story lines have been to help a male cast member so far. like i love marrish hardcore, i write jordan, it’s my otp, but she spent all of 5a with him instead of really working on figuring out herself which like i love she’s helping him (hella character development from s1 lydia where she’s now not afraid to show she’s caring & kind & intelligent) but why the fuck are we not talking about her own arch anymore? which is what’s happening with this thing. she got captured & she’s gonna have to be rescued by stiles, or whatever, and then it’ll probably be forgotten & she’ll have no trauma afterwards because her true love came & saved her. ((((:
