it kills me how the fandom is about pearl bc like it had only been a few months since she lost rose and like they expect her to be so happy and sweet towards steven and greg, like what the fuck honestly i hate this fandom so much

ppl hate pearl bc she suffers from trauma bc of losing rose and it was literally a couple months during that flashback of losing her. she’s upset she’s absolutely devastated she lost the love of her life. and the “she hated steven as a baby and tried to kill him” shit is soooo fucking awful bc she didn’t. she wanted to get rose back and she didn’t know she could possibly hurt steven by taking out his gem. but she STOPPED. unlike amethyst and garnet who continues to try and bring rose back. pearl said she can’t do it. like she’s trying so hard and she’s obviously caring about steven afterwards.
