Last Saturday I went to Holiday Matsuri for the day! It was my first Christmas con so I wanted to do something to fit the theme and went with Hawke in an ugly sweater. Photos are by the lovely fairypsychic.

Made the base sweater myself out of some thin flannel because it was cheaper than buying a sweater, then added some stretch velvet with gold glittery snowflakes that I found a quarter yard of in the remnants bin. Cut out individual snowflakes and ironed them on along with the felt shapes and letters. There are bells on the tops of the front trees so I jingled and there is one reindeer for each party member in Dragon Age II (with two more on the back for Bethany and Carver).

I really love how Holiday Matsuri continues to be most people favorite con around here

holmat was a TON of fun !! honestly this is one of my best con experiences ever ^o^ everyone was really nice and cosplaying haikyuu was like. the greatest experience with my best friends ever. i met some rly cool haikyuus and got to hang out and eat cici's like twenty thousand times.
