ok, rather the IDEA of your network is elitist. and that was a bit of a slippery slope you were on XD (turning it into a compliment)

okay i really dont want to answer this in a way that will end up angering someone, including those who are actually excited for the network

elitist literally means "favoring, advocating, or restricted to an elite"

it isnt even restricted to anyone at the moment.  i havent even looked at everyone who's reblogged it yet.  the only definite members of the network are leslie and i, and if you consider that elitist, then we must be elite, and this must in turn be a compliment.

I know I'm late to the party but networks plz I love them they make me happy and I love meeting new people. I love the friendships that can be made and since I have few real life social skills yayayayayyyyy internet friends! But anyway I think I have an organized blog and yay fandoms. Okay, I'm done now. that doesn't even make sense, because every network is really elitist.

idk what about the post made our network seem "elite" to that anon. and honestly, i dont think all networks are elitist, i mean, they just choose semi-randomly a bunch of bloggers to come together for a common interest. as far as the holmies goes, we're looking for someone with a nice/clean blog mainly so everyone is on the same page with blog/blogging style, how we want to present ourselves on tumblr, idk things like that? so helping each other out with html, theme stuff, blog advice is all the more relevant for each other? but, think of it as you will, if you're into networks you're into them, if not that's cool!
