OF COURSE the holophoner from Futurama was in an Asimov book. Right down to the "There are only a handful of people in the galaxy who know how to play that. And even they aren't very good." bit.

It's even practically the same name!

Anything you could possible imagine be a hologram right in front of you!!! You could have your dream reality in a movie right in front of you.
