I really don't know why people keep underestimating Cardan's character by saying he's a loser or weak or whatever. Like he's so smart and powerful. Bro literally made an island rise out of nowhere, killed many of Madoc's soldiers in no time.

He just likes to hide behind the mask of the fool or the useless. But if he wanted to destroy the entire freakin' world, he would.

Ps: he reminds me of Loki sometimes.

Cardan is the biggest fucking simp istg. I love writing his point of view. It’s just: 

Jude. Why can’t I help Jude. I want Jude. Jude love me.

I think i found a plot hole in the wicked king?

So i’ve been rereading the cruel prince trilogy and just finished the wicked king and I noticed something I hadn’t before. 

One of Jude’s problems is that the oath Cardan took was for one year and one day but she needed it to be way longer (untill Oak grew up), but couldn’t find a way to make him give her another one. But like... She could give him a commad and he couldn’t disobay her. Why didn’t she just command him to giver her another oath for longer time. Am I missing something.
