Holy Tunics are from New York and have clearly embraced the lo-fi aesthetic on this recording.  Think Guided By Voices, Apples in Stereo, Capstan Shafts, or Amateur Childbirth.

Be sure to check out the reworked, less lo-fi version of “Clutching The Straw Map” 7″.  Perhaps as time wears on Holy Tunic will embrace high-fi in the same way GBV did.

Both this tape and the 7″ appear to be self-released.
