“…Holy crap…” 

The little girl stared a bit too long before she blinked rapidly and tried to talk. “Uh…I was wondering if I could…holy…you…wings…” She pressed herself against the door, and swallowed hard. “Book? Um…I’d like a book…”

  He just wanted to voice his frustration, but not in front of the mortal child.

         His brows curved upwards displaying worry. 

 Turning pale. 

  This was dangerous, he thought.

     His thoughts were fleeting and his mouth felt so dry.

         A moment was spent staring in utter disbelief. 

  “ A-ah one moment, if you will.

          I’ll be right with you.”

   Rushing to the back of his shop, stumbling here and there over piles of books.         Once he made it safely he pulled his wings in. 

  Trying to find another suit jacket that’d hold them. 

        Frantic in his actions, he was almost shaking. 

 “ Aziraphale.....what have you done!” 

              Cursing at himself.
