My Hanbin loves animals more than he loves people. He thinks animals are the cutest, most perfect and precious. So when Hanbin says donggu was as chubby as an animal, isnt that saying donggu was cute and he prefers the way donggu looked before he started that insane diet? Hanbin loves when animals are chubby and cute (like in mari and I, he kept on feeding the puppies and wanting them to get chubby.) Hanbin meant no harm to donggu, i think he was saying he liked donggu's past look asa complement

A translator already explained the word hanbin used. It’s like a joke to describe smth negative but in a funny way. So at the end of the day he used a ngeative word to describe donghyuk’s past body. We shouldn’t try to defend Hanbin’s word. He said what he said. Donghyuk is more important rn. His feelings matter but people like to ignore it. One comment doesn’t make Hanbin a bad person. He is still a kid that uses sharp words without thinking much about it. He needs to learn to be a bit more sensitive towards other people’s feelings. Especially towards people who’s feelings get hurt easily like dongdong. We know he didn’t mean any harm. As I said before, I would put my hand in fire for iKON’s bond. Donghyuk was always kinda insecure about his body and there is probably much more to it than what we know.Hanbin and the rest of the group love and adore Donghyuk so, so much! We all know that. I mean, you just have to watch their latest vapp broadcast. Jinhwan even said Donghyuk is 50% of the group and June added that he is ¾. They talked so much about dongdong and gave him tons of compliments and told him how much they miss him. They do have an amazing bond. Still, you don’t have to defend smth just because you’re afraid people will think badly of Hanbin. What I’m always trying to explain to iKONICs is that even when you love and care for them like crazy, there is absolutely no need to agree on everything they do or say and to change your own ideals and feelings for them. You can disagree or criticize them without being less of a fan. I saw so many people who said ‘you are not a real ikonic when you say hanbin did wrong’ and I also saw other people who used this against Hanbin as a reason to hate on him. You don’t have to be part of neither of those groups. You can ignore both. The fans who call other fans out for not being real enough are just afraid that the other side will use it as an opportunity to hate on hanbin and they are absolutely right, they will use it. But they’ll do it no matter if you try to excuse his words or not. Just let them talk. Also I don’t think we should blame everything on hanbin. It was a joke and Bobby and Yunhyeong laughed about it. After bapcha's explanation and translation on twitter, now it’s more understandable to why they laughed but it was still wrong. Jinhwan called him out immediately and Chanwoo didn’t look happy either. But the biggest blame is on the culture tbh. I also grew up in a culture where people call each other by ugly words to show you their love. It’s kinda weird but that’s an important point too. They grew up in that kinda environment and it’s not that serious to them. I still don’t think it’s a right thing to do, but I just don’t believe that you can blame everything on hanbin. I still love and support iKON and beanie. He is still an amazing leader who would take a bullet for his team members. I just don’t agree with what he said. (Btw he and Donghyuk went to psy’s concert together yesterday. )
