Attachment to his bodily relatives continues to cause consternation in Arjuna's mind.@swami_mukundananda Verses 1.34-35 depict how dejected Arjuna continues to doubt the purpose of fighting the mammoth war. He takes recluse in the morality and questions the very purpose of what he is expected to do as a warrior- fighting the war. Arjuna in Moral Crisis Overwhelmed with sorrow and fear Arjuna is unable to deal with the thought of the devastation the war will cause. He forgets his spiritual existence and consequently also forgets that he was not just the body. Arjuna takes recluse in the morality and questions the very purpose of what he is expected to do as a warrior- fighting the war . The attachment to and the thought of killing his bodily relatives gives way to panic . Fearful and emotional Arjuna’s body also fails to cooperate. Sloka 1-29-31 Holy Bhagavad Gita- Tamil Logical thinking and rationality require a calm and fearless mind that is devoid of any negative emotions. Moreover, as research points out negative emotions of fear and anxiety renders us physically incapable and affects our physical wellbeing as well. Even the valiant Arjuna succumbed to his overwhelming emotions causing him to be gripped in superstition and his body failing him. Arjuna’s overflowing compassion and attachment to his bodily relatives resulted in his emotions to run amok . The thought killing his own relatives and the destruction the mammoth war was going to cause crippled his mind ,clouded his consciousness and gave way to superstition . Beside clouding his consciousness which made him forget his spiritual existence it also affected his physical ability. So much so that his whole body was shaking and the inseparable bow Gandiv :- गाण्डीव slipped from his hand. Valiant Arjuna’s mind was troubled by the destructive outcomes of the war. He succumbed to his overwhelming emotions and was not spared from the grips of superstition and found his body failing him. Achyuta - the most dependable Lord Shree Krishna is Enslaved by the Love of his Devotees.
