i had a single room freshman year and my 2 closest friends transferred so i ended up living with randoms for my sophomore yr and 2 of them became my closest friends... as anxiety inducing as it can be to living with random people again it can also be good. but also having a single is great too, considering how much of an introvert i am, it was great for me so that's not a bad path to take either

i don’t think i’m terribly nervous about having a random roommate.. i tend to be relatively “chill” like not much will bother me and plus since it’s the second year i would assume people kind of know the proper way to act as a roommate so hopefully no one could be too bad... and i feel like having a single would be great for me too because i am so introverted as well, but i also think that much alone time could be too much for me :/ so idk. although overall i’m not even 100% sure how this selection thing goes like it’s new to me because they did it differently for freshmen housing.. thank you though this does make me feel a bit more relaxed about the outcome, it can’t be too bad!
