It’s going to happen soon, is all I can tell you! Will isn’t going to overstep the boundary rules physically; it’s something he says that will be upsetting. As for what both Nico and Jason will do when this information becomes known to them, I’ll leave you guessing. I’m glad you’re excited for future developments though!

I actually lOVE HOMEBOUND SO MUCH. The characters are so spot on and I look forward to every update. I sometimes forget it isn't the canon even though it should be(Jason is so in love with Nico it's ridiculous honestly.) Please keep doing whatever it is you're doing now because it is beautiful. I just want you to know that as much as he irritates me, I'm actually really impressed with the way you write Will. It's like he's weaponized Jason's altruism and wields it against him. And I've just got to know, does Will even realize what he's doing? Or does this type of psychological warfare come to him naturally without real intent? If the answer is a spoiler, I can't wait to read and find out, because damn.

He’s the trickiest one to write out for me, simply because his character in canon is extremely vague and can be developed in so many different ways, both good and bad. I tried to find a middle ground though, and opted to take his development in the “good” direction, though not without character flaws. I also take longer in editing chapters with him in it because I really don’t want him to end up seeming like a villain, because he’s not. The antagonists in this story are all internal: the conflicting emotions, principals, etc. every major player character faces.

It’s not a spoiler, so I can answer! No, sadly he doesn’t realize what he’s doing is wrong, but when he does, I can assure you and everyone else, he’s going to feel more than shitty. There’s definitely no malicious intent on his part. Unfortunately, it’s not the first time he’s done this (though to a lesser degree), which is something that’s going to be brought up in the next several chapters. It’s just stronger with Jason because of the jealousy factor. He’ll get better by the time the story is over, and he’ll be able to make amends with those he’s hurt. I don’t think he’s a bad guy and he has his heart in the right place, but even good people have their flaws and vices. This is just how I ended up choosing his. I based my version of him from the little characterization he got in canon, and well, that’s where we are today.

But I’m really glad that you like how I’m writing him! His character was the one I worried most about before starting this story, as I wanted him to sound realistic like everyone else, so I’m glad the way I wanted to portray him is turning out to be successful!
