March 18, 2017: News & Updates

Good afternoon everyone! It's been a busy week here at the studio; the two biggest announcements being the debut of Distortion, a new fiction series set in Morbit; and the release of the 2017 Beatfox Species Style Guide!

The full 2017 Beatfox Species Style Guide can be found on the blog over [ here ], and we hope that you all have a lot of fun with it!

Distortion is being written by studio member Swirly, and it is a story that follows a number of characters’ lives in the town of Consequence. The first story of the series follows Ervin, a funny old man who works General Preparation at the local meat processing plant. As the story progresses, we will live his day to day life along-side him. And, with a little bit of luck, possibly change things around Consequence for the better.

Distortion will be hosted on DeviantArt and is scheduled to release a new chapter once per month, with Interactive Fiction supplementary stories on a tentative bimonthly release schedule.

Team Voidsy's fifth and final TCP has been spawned and named-- say hello to Jasper, the Phantom-type TCP! [ Team Voidsy has also been outfitted with spiffy new uniforms and gear, so be sure to check it out over on TGchan! (18+) ] 

Work on the Furvilla Session update is nearly complete-- and looking super cute!

Long-overdue rewrites of the plot are underway, and are going smoothly.

General documentation of the game and its development has been drastically improving over the past week (Thank you Mortis & Comorant)

More environment and level location concepts should be starting next week or next month.

Coding work is progressing well!

Music and sound design has started and is in its early stages.
