Taproom Distribution & Brew Thru
As y’all know, Black Star Line Brewing Co. is disrupting the brewing industry’s ways of doing things the same way. To that end, we’re innovators on a mission to create in-roads and gateways for folks who do not usually enjoy craft beer. We’re launching the #SweetBeerMovement.
Think: If you’re not used to beer or craft beer, are you going to waltz in to a mostly white brewery? The sounds of the Eagles and Duran Duran soar in the background and there’s a bar full of Beards.
More than likely, this does not sound like a place to unwind and enjoy some delicious brews with your friends. It doesn’t sound like a place to talk about your life; the struggles and joys. You have to go out of your way to find safe spaces in the world already.
What if we turned the idea of distribution on its head? What if we brought the beers and botanicals to places you already frequent? Folks think about this as focusing on distribution. What we want to do is cultivate authentic Black Star Line Brewing Co. experiences in our communities. For example, you can now find our brews at the House of Lemond in Charlotte. Working together, collaboration vs. competition, is the pathway to get us all free.
If you’re interested in being a site that wants to collaborate with us to create #BlackBrewCulture and supports this #SweetBeerMovement, let us know!
Also, we’ve been inspired to think about sites in the community where we can allow folks with CSB (Community Supported Brewing) memberships to get their growler fills. How awesome would it be to roll up to the beach on your boat, scan your QR code, and get a growler full of #DatDere or #SummerBest Cream Ale? Stay tuned! We’ll work on that.
This fall, we’ll also be featuring special hop distribution from our homies at Dancing Hearts Ranch. There will be Cascade hops made by Black queer women in the Cascade mountains. This is the development of the Black brewers supply chain. Buy Black, support Black.
Lastly, we want to invite y’all out to brew in the #homebrewtestlab. Think: AirBnB, a Bed and Breakfast, and a brewery have a baby. That baby is Sanctuary on the Lake by Black Star Line Brewing Co. Come, invite some friends, stay at the crib, enjoy the resort and lake amenities, drink great beer, have food cooked for you, and... brew beer. We’ll be putting some package deals together soon.
Our brewery is focused on building in community, inspired by community, and being in community. Have ideas? Want to be a part of the movement? Let’s build and all get free, y’all.
#cheers!
