Aunt mays apartment always has the same feeling, the perfect temperature and the smell of vanilla mixed with Peters cologne.
“Oh, hey y/n!” Aunt may says as she opens the door, making way for you to get inside.
“Hey may! Missed you.” You reply, hugging her and then making your way to Peter’s room, your legs automatically knowing where to go.
After a couple steps, you find yourself in front of Peter’s door, knocking on the wall before coming inside.
“Hey spider-boy, ready to build that Lego set?”

At the dance :
Colored lights flashed on the ceiling and gym floor, the music playing being somewhat tolerable, Peter standing by the snack table, sipping on his punch not knowing what to do.
That was until he spot you, a smile creeping on his face, his hand’s subconsciously going to fix his hair.
“Uh hi Peter..!” You mumbled out, playing with the necklace that you just recently bought.
His eyes still on his punch he mumbled back as well, sounding something between the lines of “hey” and “hi”
“You look pretty today.”
You would be lying if you said that didn’t give you butterflies.
“Thank you Peter… you look handsome as well.” You replied with a smile, not realizing how the music started turning softer, the dance floor getting crowded with couples.
“I know I stand in line until I think you have the time to spend an evening with me~”
Peter rubbed his neck, pink immediately crawling up his neck, all of a sudden his punch became interesting.
“Uh….” He started, looking up from his drink and placing it down. You knew what he was about to ask.
“…you wanna…dance?”
That made you feel queasy.
“I would be lying if I said no.” You chuckled, nodding as you threw away your untouched nachos, grabbing his hand and dragging both of you to the dance floor.
His hands barely touched your waist, not knowing what to do.
“By saying something stupid like, ‘I love you’~”
“Can I uh, put my hands on your waist?” Peter asked, not knowing where to look.
You nodded as you put your hands around his neck, both of you failing to match the rhythm of the song.
“But then I think I’ll wait until the evening gets late and I’m alone with you.~”
