Domestic Aspirations is the venture of Dan Moore, a native of California’s Central Valley. Interior design became a passion for Dan following another heart-felt endeavor; theatre. After high school, Dan was accepted to the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and continued to act and perform professionally for 10 years. Although Dan hasn't performed professionally in over 15 years, his storefront Domestic Aspirations boasts antique, vintage, unique, and elegant home decor that needs a show all of it’s own.

Domestic Aspirations showcases decor that makes up the retail side of Dan’s design business, Daniel J Moore Design. A traditional, yet fresh take on design, Dan uses scale, texture, color and space to weave into the design of a clients home. He also takes into consideration the characteristics of the individual, as well as their home, and keeps those elements relevant while adding a subtle touch of his own experience and style.

At Domestic Aspirations, Dan has curated a collection of items much like he would style a home. We know we wouldn't mind if the inside of our home looked like the inside of Domestic Aspirations! From Parisienne Cafe Chairs, an Antique Moroccan Trunk, to a Boho Chic Wall Sconce, Dan Moore has an eye for the intricate, yet timeless pieces that will always elevate any space.

Picking favorites is impossible, but we’ve scouted a few items from Dan’s shop that we’d love to place in any room, nook, or space in our home.
