"Violin Solo for 'Home for a Rest'"🎶🏷, transcribed & arranged (FROM MEMORY!) by: violinmagicactor (me 😄)----------------------------------------------- I'll perform fiddle/violin for this Friday's 🍀St. Patrick's day festival🍀! So these last 6 weeks I've been practicing & memorizing 40 new songs, jig & reels. Once I felt I knew the songs by ear, then I set out to write the music down just as a reference guide. ------------------------------------------------------------This fun song "Home for a Rest" has a very exciting & long solo at the end of the song🎶, so to make sure I have the patterns and order down, I wrote the whole solo from memory🎼...and afterwards I listened to it to make the necessary adjustments -------------------------------------------------------Tonight I did 3 pages but this one is the only one straight from memory, the other 2 were dictation🎵: (writing the notes down as I listen to the songs). -----------------------------------------------------------This is a version of art & visual arts also so I'm including it in my posts.
