Duty Here&There: Duty Success Kis

On World Water Day (March 22, 2015), The Duty of Design will host a charitable brunch, Here&There, in Downtown Atlanta. Here&There supports Duty's design solutions for community sustainability. Duty is helping solve real problems domestically (here) and internationally (there). Duty is seeking to expand their human-centered design solutions in Metro-Atlanta, while also supporting their clients that assist communities around the world.

So what are we supporting here? Our Success Kits Campaign! The Duty of Design's Success Kits are creating a world where everyone, regardless of their financial limitations, societal/economic obstacles or barriers can enter the work force on even ground. By giving those in need a customized business suite (resumes, cover letters, business cards, envelopes, messenger bags, and more) we a giving them a sense of ownership that is linked to professional empowerment and independence. We are putting those that are entering the work force on equal ground with other job seekers. This isn't a hand out-- these are real, tangible tools of empowerment!
