Thought I’d get back to what I love... trying select wines from my home in Georgetown, on Wednesday nights. Starting out this Season with a Pinot Noir, from California, modestly priced, quickly revealing earthly flavors of bing cherries, cocoa & plum. Having spent time in France, I can taste the “clone” Cote d’Or from Burgundy France. Fuller flavor, without the bitter tannins found in some reds. I choose to bake Salmon, to pair with this wine. Perfect combination to a radiant Red!
