Happy Christmas Eve
Highly recommend watching this latest look through Grey Gardens with it's newest owner and custodian.
Among Liz Lange's personal touches are commissions from many artists to create work inspired by the Edies.

My kind of gal
"I think home is an energy. I think it's an energy that we carry with us, within ourselves, within the communities that we exist within.
My physical home has been like writing a love letter to my past, present and future self. I am taking my time with it.
When I step out into the world existing as I exist there are constantly waves crashing into my existence, trying to drown me, erase me, wash me away. And so for me I've built this home so intentionally so that it is calm waters when I need to rest, when I need to heal, when I need to engage in rejuvenation so that I can go back out into the world stronger the next day.
Home is a very complex thing. Home is an energy that we carry with us but home can also be a place that we can really allow ourselves to rest and heal."

Designed by interior designer Calvin Hrezik, the home is a colorful oasis for Christopher's work, as well as for their 200 household plants. Christopher will also give us some tips and tricks on plant care, as well as giving their take on the "Green Thumb".
Another one of my favorites. They worked with the 700 square footage so well. The usage of color <3, the black art <3, the arched entry way to the kitchen, and the blue and white tiles on the kitchen wall <3. Chicago is one of my favorite cities. The bones of the homes there have so much character, even in the south side. I’ve been in a few South Side houses where, despite them being old, I could immediately tell that they were rare gems that simply needed some polishing.
The is one of my favorite YouTube channels. I like seeing how people put thought and intention into curating their homes. Her bed space <3 and her kitchen’s open shelving displaying all of her dishware <3.
