No. The Rise boys don't see 12 Splinter as a father figure. Mostly because 12 Splinter is already dead by the time the two sides of the family finally officially meet (they meet during Donnie's Gifts). However, Rise Mikey did meet 12 Splinter once before, but that was during the season 2/3 Kraang invasion when he was feral. (Post) But yeah sorry the Mikeys won't be fighting 12 Splinter's attention.

That being said, the idea that the Rise and 12 family meeting earlier and little Rise Mikey trying to adopt 12 Splinter as another father figure is adorable.

On Frankenfoot not existing in the Homs AU is it because with Leonardo training them Raph wouldn't feel like he needed to make himself a new sparing partner or is it because the 12 turtles wouldn't let Raph put a paper foot ninja back together?

12 Leo stepping up and being a proper sensei much earlier than Rise Splinter is definitely a big part of why Rise Raph didn't feel like he needed to make Frankenfoot. Mostly because I feel like Rise Raph needs/wants consistent proper training. Rise Raph likes to train! He likes to work out! We see that he keeps workout equipment in his room! And in canon, it looks like most of the Rise boys' training was based on Rise Splinter's old movies until The League of Evil Mutants. And yeah Frankenfoot was made after that episode but we still have no idea if the training was consistent.

I have some questions regarding your Homographs au (which I totally love btw). (Don't answer if it's too spoilery).

Are the 12! Turtles gonna meet Apes right after they meet the Rise turtles or that's gonna take some time? (I really wonder what would be her reaction). Are the rise turtles going meet Karai? What do the two Aprils think about the fact they both have the same name? (I bet they're going to at least joke about it). Are Apes parents going to meet the 12! Turtles? (I mean the rise turtles consider them family, so i think it would be cute if the 12! Turtles also do) If so, i have this whole scenario in my head that; they make plans to meet up (like dinner or something), maybe it could be in one of the lairs, or in hueso's restaurant or in Apes home (which would be very funny because, imagine 8 turtles +rat going to your house for dinner lol) (maybe add Karai, April, Casey and April's dad), and to make it sweet, make the turtles wear casual clothing. So anyway, they are all gathered there to enjoy some good food, but then they are interupted by a "surprise guest", a villain! (I am between draxum or the foot clan, because it could be seen as ironic do to both having a rather familiar connection with the turtles). But anyways, that's just me and my "fanfiction scenarios" lol. You don't have to do it that way if you don't want, cuz maybe you already have something in mind idk. I just think it would be neat.

Anyway, really love your AU, definitely my favorite! Keep going with it!

Rise April is gonna meet the 12 turtles very soon after the Rise turtles meet them. They might be able to hide things from Rise Splinter but they can't hide a THING from their older sister.

The Rise turtles will meet Karai. Though I'm trying to figure out exactly when I want them to meet.

The Aprils will chalk it up to April and O'Neil being fairly common first and last names at first. After finding out the turtles are related they'll definitely joke about them also being related. (They aren't actually related though.)

It will take a bit but Apes' parents will also meet the 12 fam. Though it wouldn't be the best first impression. (Like a mutant fight interrupts their date night for example.) But they'll get along alright!

I absolutely love your big family dinner idea! It's so cute! There was already gonna be a family dinner for when I eventually write Repairin' the Baron because there was already a family dinner happing there I just gotta add everyone else. But it would be nice to have a not-awkward family dinner at some point.
