It’s not like she knew the weapons sell off was for Slade. Searchers was just supposed to be stopping an arms deal. And who would turn down a chance to restock the Toy Box? Should have known sneaking up on him wasn’t a good idea. Though it wouldn’t be the first time a gun was pointed at her.

He'd been glancing at the costume forlornly all night, enough that Riddler threw up his hands in bemused defeat and let him tuck away his biology notes, told him to go play. So he pulls it on and goes and plays, working on some real-world agility and doing ridiculous little flippy things from rooftop to rooftop.

It all pauses, of course, when he lands a backflip a little too shakily and winds up on his back, catching a blur shooting across a gap and landing securely on the other side.

I'm gonna impress Riddler. I'm gonna tail Deathstroke. There's no 'I'll try' or 'maybe I can' in it; this is a confident assertion, despite the fact that Deathstroke is right up there next to Joker on the list of people Sphinx is not allowed to interact with at any point, for any length of time, for any reason. Call it the most pathetic instance of teenage rebellion in the history of sidekick-dom.

With a whisper of kevlar, a scuff of rubber boots against concrete, Sphinx slips effortlessly into the shadowed chasm of the alley walls and follows.

I’d have to say the main one is that everyone seems to think that Deadpool likes / loves killing.

When he has said time - and time - and time - AND TIME - again that he doesn’t. He’s GOOD at killing - but he doesn’t like it. And I’ma whip out one of my all time favorite Deadpool quotes to stretch this.

I haven’t signed up to do a 187 in a dog’s age…regardless of what they say in the movies, killing does not get easier the more you do it…killing someone, 'specially when you have enough time to plan it, order domino’s and do some bathroom reading before the trigger pull–it’s a lot like having a tonsils out…with no anesthetic…using a rusty fish hook.So why do it, right? I’ve seen some HC’s about that Wade draws his lines with women and won’t hurt / kill them. Debunked. He’s killed a few. In fact, his history with women isn’t exactly feminist-friendly so I’m not sure where most of the HC’s I’ve seen have been him worshiping the ground women walk on. Like anyone else concerning Wade, you’ve got to earn his respect, or get the fuck in line - man or women.
