I wasn't planning on going public with this as it happens so often with my work I'd rather not bore you with it every five minutes, but after I saw @sheinofficial are ripping off other artists too (I'll tag them) I thought I'd best speak out. I'm fed up. I'm going through multiple intellectual property disputes with large high street stores currently, and have been over the last few years (I have a lawyer who helps, but the court fees are ridiculous - these huge companies inevitably want to take the cases to court instead of admitting theft, because they know it scares people away. Spare £25,000, anyone?) When I don't use my lawyer I barely ever get a response (I haven't forgotten #Instaham, @walmart...) I moved into illustrating books more and keeping some of my work exclusive because I was being ripped off so often, but artists shouldn't have to do that. There's nobody really fighting our corner. I've lost count of how many places have copied my work and denied it.
