I know we’re enjoying the angst potential of Adrian’s s/o being in danger from an external source… but what if it wasn’t as simple as that? What if you were just missing, here one day and gone the next? Who does he ask when there’s no one to talk to? Or what if the danger was internal— mind control, or possession? How does he fight something he hates when it’s hiding in something he loves? 😳

STOOOOOOOOOOP i'm so fully of the mind that adrian will let the person he loves kill him before he will kill them himself. imagine. oh my god imagine okay like i know i'm going a little sideways here but stay with me. thinking about "amok time" episode of star trek: tos. just like not literally the same but similar vibes. and the reader is literally mind-controlled to kill adrian and the only thing that will break them out of it is killing him so adrian fights them and lets them win and lets them kill him out of love for them and then the reader wakes up and is out of the mind control and sees him dead. and freaks out. but he's not actually dead because like duh he realized what was happening and they just used some bones mccoy-esque technology to slow his heart rate enough to make you believe he was dead and break the conditioning or whatever. anyways this idea has made me go cuckoo bananas thank you for this i'm sorry i got so specific on you

One person I would never, EVER let Chris trip sit me for anything. He would be the worst person I’d want to be looking out for anyone high on anything. Even weed if the person doesn’t have a tolerance.

YEAH. yeah. definitely not alone. DEFINITELY. possibly trustworthy if leota is also present. but chris alone? absolutely not he is a nightmare he'd be the worst trip sitter on his own i can't trust him as far as i could throw him*

Just imagine coming home and seeing dad Adrian running around with his toddler kid, a huge smile on his face as he runs after them stopping and looking at you with a huge grin. (killing myself here with the ideas)

Adrian notices you have gummies lying around, doesn't realize they're special gummies and just thinks they're candy so he has a few. Cause they're good and he wanted a snack :).

Half an hour later he's experience reality in a new dimension. You make sure to label all you weed stuff very carefully after that. He had fun though!

adrian chase will put anything in his mouth. anything. i believe this. "i'll try anything twice" adrian chase. investigates things like a baby would. has to figure it out by putting it in his mouth. eats gummies he finds. probably ate some of the goo. definitely eats things he finds on the floor. i know it. it's part of what i love about him. he's horrible

I want the shotgunning smoke into his mouth experience and all, but I think he'd be hilarious on some edibles.

DILF ADRIAN!!!!!!!! I am feral for Adrian as a dad. He'd be so good at it, he just has so much love in his heart.

And I know it's been said before but I like the idea that he never wanted/planned on having kids but then when has someone he loves and he gets the chance to have that in his life he's so unbelievably excited.

yes hi hello i was just reading your thoughts on Adrian and his family dynamic and I TOO have many thoughts(TM) on the matter, but all of them kind of fall into headcanon category? like obviously we won't know the whole story until we officially get it sometime in the future, hopefully maybe, but judging from the way he acts about crime and the fact that he says his family is already gone, but then he talks about his dad(s) in the present tense, I kind of suspect that his dad and stepdad are still around but they don't keep in touch, and that something (an accident or possibly something crime related) happened to his brother and mother respectively. Maybe even something Adrian was witness to and didn't have the power to stop, so he turned to fighting crime as a way to cope with that.

Hi first off I really love your writing! my brain has been weird to live in lately and your stuff is very grounding for me so thank you! anyway you don't have to do anything with this but I've (for life reasons) just been thinking about Adrian with a partner who goes on hrt and he just sees them getmore comfortable or confident in themself as time goes on and is absolutely enamored and feels like he's feeling in love all over again. yeah idkjust wanted to share! and maybe you can't like EXPLAIN the feelings but you GET IT because you ALSO love yourself and love the person you're becoming and you feel like he just GETS IT. like he gets who you are and what you want and what you're doing
