Honey, lemon, ginger, and soy sauce are mixed together to make a tasty marinade for tender chicken breasts. The breasts are then cooked to perfection in a skillet. This Honey Lemon Ginger Glazed Chicken recipe from Lord Byron's Kitchen has just the right amount of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice. 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish optional.
Instructions: Melt the ginger, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Then, add the honey and whisk it all together. Pour the marinade over the chicken breasts that are in a shallow dish. Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes with the lid on. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Take the chicken out of the marinade and throw away the extra marinade. For 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown on the outside, cook the chicken in the pan. Take the chicken out of the pan and set it aside for a few minutes. If you want, you can add sesame seeds and chopped green onions as a garnish before serving.
