Chris hated that things had ended between them. Relationships were hard for them anyway, and at the time, calling things off before they had gotten too deep into it seemed like a good idea. No matter how often Chris tried, it was never the right time to fall in love. They were still struggling with themself - how the hell could they handle being in love with someone else? But after Tatiana, they needed someone they could trust. They needed someone they could rely on when their mind started to slip. And Honey was still friendly with them - was it such a stretch to get close to them again? Not to date ( at least, that wasn’t on the forefront of Chris’ mind ) but to have someone else they could turn to when things became too much. And fate would seem to push them in the right direction as they ran into Honey everywhere. Even when going to pick up a coffee in the food court before heading off to the film studios for class. “Hey! Honey!” It always felt like a term of endearment when they said it - but Chris called them over, waving Honey towards them. “How’re you doing?”
