it feels like a dream, seeing maggie again after all this time. ever since daryl said she'd never see her again beth has fixated on the thought, lost in the idea that she had no real family left. but here maggie is, alive and well. it keeps that flicker of hope in beth alive, makes everything she survived worth it. her hand hasn't left maggies since they left grady, and she really doesn't know if thats maggie's doing or her own. all she knows is that she prefers it like this. ❝ i missed you. ❞ she's said it a hundred times already, but she needs to keep saying it. needs to tell her all the things she never would've been able to otherwise. ❝ thought I'd never see you again. ❞
