“ have you eaten today? ”
"Ah. Happy Father's day." Cue a curt bow, before he would extend his arms, presenting a present-- a bottle of just about the most expensive sake Hanzo could find. The packaging alone seems luxurious enough, let alone the actual bottle, a fitting gift for someone like Sojiro Shimada. [ have it !! i'm still suffering from my hangover but i had to throw u a thing uvu ]
oh, how he hated fathers day. it often reminded him of what a failure of a father he truly was. one child that didn’t care, and another who he was putting through hell to follow in his footsteps. he’d kept out of the way, a faint mention of a dinner later for him and the boys was nice -- but whether or not he wanted to do it was a different question -- but as hanzo handed over the gift to him, sojiro gave a gentle smile and bowed his head “ thank you, son. “ even if he considered himself a failure, he couldn’t be happier with how his boys had turned out. loyal, passionate. wonderful, even with their faults “ you should not have.” he muttered as he unwrapped the gift “ this is rather expensive, and your money should’ve gone to better things.”

"Don' much like doctors." He offers a tight smile, the pain was starting to get to him now as he watched Hanzo's expression. The knowing and the flash of possible curiosity or concern. "I'd hypothetically be seeking out someone I trust, y' know." His arm shifts across his middle, one gloved hand covering the portion of his side wholly saturated in blood now. "O'course, 'm fine." The cowboy nodded and lifted his eyes to Hanzo again, smiling softer than before as he shifted to subtly lean himself against a wall. "Just... Just a bit tired's all, Darlin'. Nothin' to worry about. Promise."

He sat, knees drawn up to his chest and gun in his hands as he watched the entrance to the overwatch base casually. It wasn’t, he promised himself, that he was paranoid. Nor was he waiting for anyone. It wasn’t-couldn’t be that. A low sigh worked its way out of the gunslinger and he glanced down at the gun he was cleaning, looking up again when the doors opened.
“If ya were aimin’ to go to the meetin’, you’ve missed it,” Jesse drawled without looking to see who it was.
@honordriven.
the initial sos had been sent mere moments ago, but a quick glance and check of her allies positions quickly told her she was nearest to it’s vicinity. the shimada, of all people, needing assistance -- had his younger brother been present on the battlefield, she would have ignored him. genji was always the first to respond to his elder sibling, without fail. but given the circumstances, she had no choice. he needed assistance.
“responding.”
the single word would give him assurance, give him patience knowing that aid was on its way. considering he’d somehow wandered into no mans land, at least away from the main heat of battle, it shouldn’t take long to pinpoint his location -- and it didn’t. there he was, crouched low to the wall, hands bloodied and teeth cut tight in a grimace. he wasn’t stranded, he was injured. it tightened her chest, pace quickening as she hurried over, tucked down to the ground before taking a knee next to her bloodied comrade. immediately, satya is pulling free bandages and gauze, knowing that before they could get anywhere near safety, hanzo needed prompt medical attention.
“i am here,” she spoke to him softly, voice low albeit reassuring, an attempt to avoid the attention of the scarce talon agents running past his seemingly perfect little hideout. her well manicured hand rested against a heavily tattooed forearm; the one holding pressure on the wound she had yet to lay eyes on. “let me see, i will help you.”

"Oh you worry too much about the details!" Leaning over the ledge he had helped her climb, she stuck out a hand for him to take. He was capable of climbing himself, she was sure, but she didn't want to be rude. After he got up, Lena took him by the arm and began to lead him towards another ledge for him to boost her upon.
"It's only a bit further. We got lots of climbing to do, but it's close!"

( text: Jesse): Jesse, I am sorry, I– ( text: Jesse): The mission had proven more difficult than anticipated. ( text: Jesse): I had not have had time to respond until now, my apologies.
