#honour run

I'm doing an honour run and rolled three (3!) nat one's in a row to try and convince Zarys to let me into the Zhentarim hideout T_T

Goodbye Harold, goodbye Gloves of thievery, goodbye Titanstring bow.

I'll try to wait until after the Gnoll fight, maybe she'll still let me in if I bring her the shipment, but if she doesn't I'm about to throw the shipment into the cave and see what happens.

Well, now I'm gonna have to pause playing Baldur's Gate for a lil bit. Again. 133 hours of this honor run down the drain.

All because I forgot what the freaking Bhaal Ritual Target meant. Totally forgot that meant my whole party would get wiped if I didn't kill the ritual master.

I had just killed Saverok, finally done the Ansur quest (which I'd never done in previous runs! Holy crap that reveal in that quest was insane!!! Idk how I didn't get that spoiled for me) and killed Cazador and gone with my little date with Lae'zal.

Sigh

I love this game, but definitely gonna play something else for a bit like I did after I failed my last honor run due to a glitch with my Astarion Origin run.

completely over prepared for the Grym fight. no one got hit for a single HP, even Scratch. (except Connor, who dove head first into the lava, died, came back to life, then died again. RIP Connor you are a great husband, Mayrina did not deserve you)

also reaaaally under prepared because i realized only just before the fight that my mithral was gone. i had to go buy it back from lady Esther for 530 gold…
