constant contact. hugs are superior in his opinion, but he can definitely settle for hand holding or resting his head on your shoulder(/head, or vice versa). even just the brushing of your knees when you sit next to him is enough for him.
he doesn’t exactly have a way with words, but he tries to whisper loving things to you. this usually happens when he feels like you need to feel loved, out of embarrassment of being too “cringey” in his words. but it’s so awkward when he does it that sometimes you crack a smile. it wasn’t the intended effect but at least you feel better and that’s all he wants.

first of all

jason is the type to wake up super early to work out
you’re up early because when the sun’s up, you’re up
basically you two watch the sunrise together
and then you watch jason do his thing to make sure he doesnt pass out or to patch him up if needed
you two barely spar because yk
bow vs sword doesnt rlly work out
but jason helps you with your sword skills a lot
and in return you teach him how to shoot
you make fun of his aim all the time it’s hilarious
